R&W: Blink Introduction

We finished the PowerPoint from yesterday regarding Malcolm Gladwell’s Blink, our next unit. I stamped in your notes. I also distributed your discussion leader assignment (3rd hour’s and 4th hour’s) and your reading quiz assignment (parent signature due Monday). We will talk more at the beginning of next week regarding the discussion leader expectations/reading quiz expectations/annotations.

Homework: Vocab Quiz #5 tomorrow! Read the rest of the introduction of Blink for Monday along with annotations. Approximately every 5 pages (so pages 8-12, and then 13-17), write down: 1. 2-3 important/key/insightful quotes using proper citation, 2. 2-3 connections you can make, and 3. 2-3 questions this raises that you could offer for discussion. (The first 5 pages can be skipped regarding the above requirements).

Also, if you did not create a turnitin.com account, you must do so by tomorrow. Instructions are in yesterday’s post.
