Honors 11: Outline and Intros/Conclusions

We spent the first part of the hour discussing in small groups our outlines and the plan for our claim’s evolution/use of our sources. I checked your outlines in for completion points. You are uploading your updated outlines and annotated bibs in the same document to turnitin.com by midnight tonight (indicate changes made in a different color or by some other clear system).

We then looked at this chapter of Writing Analytically to look into best practices for introduction and conclusion writing. We shared out in small groups some advice from each section and looked at a few sample intros. You are bringing in a hard copy of your introduction paragraph for tomorrow. Consider using one of the methods from WA’s Chapter 8 we shared about today.
