Honors 11: Critical Relationships + Research Begins

We first finished our critical relationships work and discussed in small groups what we came up with while I walked around and checked in your proposals for the essay. I also stamped in your CR work. We will share out tomorrow as a class.

We then had the laptops to begin researching. This handout discusses how to find secondary sources, and this one has a long list of search engines that will be useful in finding engaging, critical, and credible secondary sources. This one deals with MLA Format (OWL Purdue is linked) for your essay.

Also, here’s some evolving thesis help as well as some outlining help with sample materials (not totally within our scope but you’ll get the idea). This is a sample works cited page.

Homework: Annotated Bibliography is due Friday. We will have laptops on Thursday and Friday as well.
