Honors 11: KV’s Charting the Story and Ch. 30-42

We first watched one of Vonnegut’s lectures from the 80s about “Charting the Story”, or “The Shapes of Stories”–you read a longer lecture transcript last night for homework. We then charted our own story after we watched.

Next, we got into groups of 3-4 to begin work depicting on a poster, one of the major ideas/aspects of the novel (these ranged from karass to religion to absurdity, etc.) You were to have the topic written on the poster along with 3-4 pieces of properly cited evidence, a representative picture, and 7-10 sentences of analytical connection or 7-10 fragmented bullet points. The posters will continue work tomorrow and will be presented on Monday.

Homework: Ch. 43-55 for tomorrow
