English 10: Act II Completed + Relationship Work

We finished Act II with our reading guides today. The reading guides will be stamped in tomorrow after the Act II quiz (literary terms from Act I and II will be on the quiz–have all definitions filled out prior to our lit. term presentations tomorrow).

I then broke you up into groups for this small group poster work regarding certain relationships in the play. We will continue this after the quiz/lit term presentations tomorrow as a gallery walk/piece of practice analysis.

I also assigned the article reading in preparation for your collaborative in-class SAT-style impromptu essay on Thursday. The directions and article by Jeremy Diamond about Donald Trump that is the foundation for your essay (to be read and annotated by Thursday or you will work alone) are attached as are rhetorical devices/strategies authors employ, sample, graded SAT essays and the scoring guide for the SAT essay.
