Honors 11: “A Primer of Existentialism”

We started the day by getting into groups with our “Primer of Existentialism” outlines, the essay, and our work from “The Wall.” I asked you to follow these instructions in your groups: you worked to add questions and comments to your outline in a different color during the conversation with your group members; you then added quotes of related significance to your “Wall” chart that correlated with the Sartrean/general existential aspects already delved into in the chart; and you then responded (on your outline) to 4 other QTIOs from your classmates (3rd, 5th and 6th hr QTIOs are attached). You submitted your outline with “The Wall” chart stapled together at the end of the hour.

For homework you are reading Albert Camus“Myth of Sisyphus” and Svenja Schrahe’s Intro to Sisyphus. We may have a quiz tomorrow. Annotate as needed. Here’s some more about Camus.
