Honors 11: “Ozymandias” and Ch. 9 of Gatsby

We worked through “Ozymandias” as a class today, and here are the annotations from 3rd, 5th and 6th hours. You added to yours as we talked through the Shelley sonnet (we didn’t get to Horace, but that’s okay). We created a claim at the bottom and shared with a partner what we had constructed. After, you discussed the three questions from the de Botton reading you completed over the weekend in small groups. You submitted that work for points.

After, you got to work on these Ch. 9 questions that are due tomorrow.

Here’s the Gatsby Exam review again, and a sample definition essay.

Also, please check out this Colbert Book Club for funsies. And this one. This one too. Oh, and throw this one in for good measure. I can’t get it to play at school.

HOMEWORK: Your Definition Essay Rough Draft is due Friday. The test is also Friday.
