Honors 11: Yes Men, cont.

We watched a few clips from The Yes Men Fix the World, their second documentary, today, regarding Dow Chemical and the Bhopal chemical plant disaster. We discussed their new project and its effectiveness as a form of cultural resistance. We submitted our Yes Men viewing guide today, unless you need it for your essay tonight, and in that case, you may submit tomorrow. We skipped the synthesis work, but we will talk about it tomorrow regarding these three voices: Duncombe (“Cultural Resistance Reader”), Frank (“Why Johnny Can’t Dissent”), and The Yes Men.

HOMEWORK: Bring a full draft of your globalization synthesis essay to class tomorrow for editing/discussion.
