Honors 11: Cultural Resistance and the Yes Men

We discussed for the first half of the hour Duncombe’s Cultural Resistance Reader in terms of what it meant, its implications regarding contemporary society and globalization, etc. We then transitioned into a satirical documentary regarding The Yes Men, a 2003 documentary, and its anti-globalization cultural resistance methods. We got through the first 2-3 clips with this viewing guide (1st hour got further than 2nd hour).

Work on your essay over the weekend.
