Honors 11: RWE/HDT/JH Mini Teach the Class + Peer Editing

We started off this beautiful Friday sharing our pieces with the rest of the class, who took notes for the final exam. You submitted your annotated article/essay/chapter excerpt, the notes taken, and the Ch. 8-13 work completed this week for points. You did well quickly and concisely sharing the most important aspects of your assigned transcendentalist’s work. Good job.

We then peer edited, using imagery and figurative language as our focus area. We can continue that work Monday. We will also be editing the entire piece on Tuesday, when your full 1,000-word narrative in its full form. Remember it is due stapled to all previous edited and tracked drafts, as well as electronically, on Friday, January 16.

HOMEWORK: Please read Ch. 14-15 for Monday along with this active/passive voice handout.
