Honors 11: Poetry, Institutions of Power and Shockley

We finished our impromptu teach the class poetry assignment today. Well done. There were a lot of interesting conversations and ideas happening. I enjoyed your take. First hour was able to begin answering questions regarding certain institutions that seek to control our daily lives and those of the characters in Grapes. Second hour will do it as bell work tomorrow. I then went over the homework regarding Shockley’s article on Christian Symbolism (all information specific to this is in previous posts). This is due by 7:40 a.m. tomorrow morning. Be prepared to share your thoughts in class regarding the article and your responses.
