English 10: Julius Caesar Act I Scene 2

Sixth hour did a bell work today (third hour will do it tomorrow):

1. What are the qualities of a good leader (don’t think politically)? You may list these.

2. What do people look for in leaders, politically speaking, nowadays vs. ~45/44 B.C.?

REMEMBER TO KEEP ALL BELL WORK AS IT IS TURNED IN AT THE END OF EACH UNIT.

Third hour and sixth hour got to line 214 in Act I, Scene ii (when Caesar and his Train exit after Caesar discusses with Antony how he doesn’t like Cassius). Here’s the play in PDF form for online access. We will finish scene ii tomorrow in class with our reading guide. Please do not lose those green Act I reading guides. All reading guides will be turned in at the end of the play (50 points total!!!–10 for each act).

Afterwards, we went to the LMC to get a book for silent reading tomorrow. Don’t forget to bring it with you.
